Josué Garza   •   President   •   Lynd Property Management   •   San Antonio 

Lynd, a real estate company with over 40 years of experience in property management, construction services, acquisitions and development investments, announced the expansion of its third-party multifamily management services business for institutional and individual owners nationally. Following an extensive search, it also has re-hired Josué Garza, as President of Lynd Property Management. He will be based in Lynd’s San Antonio headquarters. Garza brings 14 years of experience in property management, most recently as Director of Property Management at Gran Ciudad, a privately held affiliate of Black Creek Capital that develops, owns and operates multifamily housing throughout Mexico. Based in Mexico City, Garza launched an institutional build-to-rent property management platform. Garza’s previous role with Lynd involved overseeing rental properties in Texas, Arizona, Colorado and California, after participating in Lynd’s Special Operations Program to introduce college graduates to property management. 

Kinjal Patel   •   President   •   McHugh Construction   •   Chicago

McHugh Construction announced Kinjal Patel has joined the firm as President. Patel most recently led the Chicago construction business for Lendlease. In his new role, Patel will drive strategic growth and diversification of McHugh’s construction business in Chicago and select U.S. cities by tapping into his strong client relationships. He will also pursue a range of new construction, renovation and adaptive reuse projects spanning multifamily and hospitality among other sectors. Prior to joining McHugh, Patel spent nearly 20 years with Lendlease, where he was promoted several times, eventually leading the Chicago construction business as Executive General Manager. McHugh’s former President, Michael Meagher, now serves on McHugh’s Board of Directors.

Nicole Steltenpohl   •   Chief Human Resources Officer   •   P.B. Bell   •   Scottsdale, Ariz.

P.B. Bell announced the appointment of Nicole Steltenpohl as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. Steltenpohl has been a key leader in the company’s HR department since August 2019. In her new role, Steltenpohl will join the executive team. Steltenpohl is taking a hands-on approach to ensure a balanced work-life for onsite and corporate teams. She is committed to fostering a culture of open communication and feedback, regularly visiting onsite teams to stay connected with their needs. Before joining P.B. Bell, Steltenpohl was with Skyport Hospitality for 14 years.

Atlas Real Estate Partners (Miami and New York)  

Brad Schwartzmann   •   Senior Vice President of Asset Management

Zach Chilelli   •   Vice President of Investor Relations

Atlas Real Estate Partners welcomed Brad Schwartzmann as Senior Vice President of Asset Management and promoted Zach Chilelli to Vice President of Investor Relations.

Schwartzmann will be based out of the Miami office. In this role, he has direct oversight of all facets of asset management and portfolio optimization across the company’s holdings. Prior to joining Atlas, he was the Senior Vice President and Head of Asset Management at One Real Estate Investment, a real estate private equity firm in Miami. During his tenure at One, Schwartzmann played a pivotal role in the underwriting, financial modeling, due diligence and maximizing the value of a multifamily portfolio of 15,000 units across Texas and the Southeast.

Chilelli is responsible for fundraising, expanding the firm’s investor base, serving the needs of existing investors and investment reporting. He is based out of the New York office. Prior to this position, he was a core team member of the Atlas finance and operations team, assisting with accounting, tax, operations and supporting the asset management function. He has been responsible for implementing successful change management initiatives across the company that have increased efficiencies, both internally and externally, within various verticals of the business.

Frank Wiley   •   Executive Vice President   •   The Breeden Company   •   Virginia Beach, Va.

The Breeden Company announced Executive Vice President Frank Wiley is retiring after a dynamic and highly successful 49-year tenure. He managed all pre-construction and construction services for commercial and residential projects. Wiley started with the company in 1975 as a Field Superintendent responsible for managing construction sites and subcontractors. Over the course of his career with The Breeden Company, he worked in several departments including commercial leasing, property management and property sales of condominiums and single-family homes. He helped design and develop almost 20,000 multifamily units. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1963 after serving in the Army from 1954-56, where he was stationed in Austria and Italy.
