Julie has over 25 years of public accounting experience in the partnership, real estate and construction areas of taxation.  She also specializes in real estate investment trusts (REITs) and corporate real estate tax planning and compliance. Her clients have included REITs, real estate funds, commercial and multi-family real estate developers and owners, homebuilders, land developers, engineering and construction companies, private equity funds, and oil and gas funds. In addition, she is proficient with complex Section 704(b) allocations, Section 460 percentage of completion calculations, Section 263A overhead and interest capitalization issues, Section 1031 like-kind exchanges, and capital gain planning.
