Who should attend: Regional Managers, Property Managers, Human Resources Professionals, Association Executives and Affiliated Education Staff

Why it’s important: You will gain tools to recognize signs of mental health struggles and provide support to residents or team members who are impacted and or experiencing crisis.

Sloane Cerbana, Vice President of Operations for the Washington Multi-Family Housing Association, has spent two decades building education and career development programs that are meaningful and engaging for members. She holds a certificate for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from Southern Florida University. Sloane was chosen as one of the 14 trainers with NAA, who was certified to present the National Council for Mental Wellbeing’s Mental Health First Aid Program. In addition, she was named the NAA’s 2022 Apartment Career & Education Educator of the Year. Sloane holds a Fashion Merchandising and Marketing degree from the Art Institutes.

Ebony Parks, Instructional Design Training Manager for Mercy Housing Management Group has 7 years of rental housing experience. She currently is responsible for delivering learning experiences for site and corporate staff by creating authentic, healthy spaces for individuals and teams to develop professionally. Ebony also serves as a Mercy Housing Member of Steering and Leadership Committees, aiding in diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. She is a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
