Watchtower Security, LLC recently announced Emily Kelley as the VP of Revenue Management. She has spent her entire career in multifamily and prior to joining Watchtower Security, she worked for 14 years at ForRent.com and three years at CheckpointID as the Vice President of Sales. Kelley is a dynamic leader in the industry with a proven track record for driving innovative solutions to the market. She will use her expertise to help her clients operate more efficiently. In her newly appointed role, she will be leading the sales, marketing and client relations teams to more rapid growth. 

Lauren Levrant     Vice President of Affordable Development      Pinnacle     Fort Lauderdale, Fla. 

Pinnacle has added Lauren Levrant as Vice President of Affordable Development. Levrant will focus on expanding Pinnacle’s affordable housing portfolio, primarily in Miami, as well as be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential affordable housing development opportunities in Miami-Dade County. Levrant started her career as an intern at Pinnacle, and over time was promoted to be a Development Associate. In 2017, she moved to the west coast and worked across markets in California, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. She most recently served as Senior Originator - Affordable Housing Preservation Investments at PNC Bank, following her role as Vice President - Northern California Affordable Housing with McCormack Baron Companies.

Ethan Ceplikas     General Counsel

Dan Willert     Retiring General Counsel

WinnCompanies has appointed Ethan Ceplikas as General Counsel, succeeding Dan Willert, who is retiring later this year after serving 13 years in the position. Ceplikas joins WinnCompanies from The Community Builders, Inc. (TCB), a Boston-based multifamily company, where he worked for nine years, most recently as General Counsel and Vice President. Prior to joining TCB, Ceplikas practiced in the real estate group at Nixon Peabody LLP and was a member of the legal department of Boston-
based nonprofit, Preservation of Affordable Housing. 

Willert has served as the company’s General Counsel and Chief Ethics Officer since 2010 and has been responsible for the company’s legal matters, including those involving property acquisition, development and management as well as a wide range of corporate and regulatory compliance issues. Prior to joining WinnCompanies, Willert practiced as a real estate and corporate lawyer for many years in law firms in Boston and San Francisco.

Anna Gwyn Simpson     Vice President of Resident Services   

Clarice Veloso-Lugo     Vice President of Communications 

EAH Housing welcomed Anna Gwyn Simpson as Vice President of Resident Services and promoted of Clarice Veloso-Lugo to Vice President of Communications. 

Simpson joins EAH Housing with over two decades of expertise and hands-on experience overseeing social service programs for diverse communities, coupled with a skillful capacity to formulate and assess program success using impactful tools and metrics. Most recently, Simpson served as the Vice President of Resident Services at Eden Housing, where she was responsible for the oversight of social service program design, delivery and partnerships for residents of affordable low-income housing in Eden’s portfolio of over 145 properties serving over 20,000 residents throughout California. In her new role at EAH Housing, Simpson will oversee the delivery of services to the residents living in affordable housing properties throughout California and Hawaii. 

Veloso-Lugo takes on this new role with over 19 years of experience in successful fundraising and nonprofit communications. In her new position, Veloso-Lugo will continue to provide leadership for internal and external communications, shaping the strategic marketing direction for the organization. Her focus includes orchestrating EAH Housing’s image and positioning within the affordable housing industry to enhance new business activities and advocacy efforts in California and Hawaii. 

Andrew Trickett     Managing Director, Investment Management, Americas      Lendlease     New York 

Lendlease has announced Andrew Trickett to the role of Managing Director, Investment Management, Americas. Trickett will be based out of Lendlease’s New York office and report directly to Claire Johnston, CEO, Americas. In this role, Trickett will lead the firm’s Investment Management division by managing institutional investor relationships, executing the investment-led strategy and expanding investments in high-growth markets across the U.S., with an emphasis on multifamily, life sciences and office asset classes. Prior to Lendlease, Trickett was Partner, Head of Investments at Safanad and led the firm’s real estate and private equity business.

Don Larsen      Senior Vice President of Capital Program Management      Waterton     Chicago 

Waterton has appointed Don Larsen as Senior Vice President of Capital Program Management. Larsen will be based in Chicago and will guide the capital program management team in aligning project budgets and timelines with company objectives. Prior to joining Waterton, Larsen served as the Executive Vice President at McWhinney Co., where he was responsible for project delivery across various business units. His career also includes significant roles at NAVA Real Estate Development Co., Related Companies, Hensel Phelps Construction Company, Forest City Commercial Construction and Alpha Builders Inc. 

George Currall     Chief Financial Officer     The NRP Group      Cleveland 

The NRP Group announced the appointment of George Currall as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The announcement follows the retirement of Andy Tanner, a 23-year veteran of NRP and the firm’s long-time CFO. 

Currall joined NRP in 2008 and brings a wealth of financial expertise and leadership experience to his new CFO role where he will lead Capital Markets, Asset Management, Tax and Accounting teams for NRP. He became a Principal in 2016 and is a member of the Executive Committee and the Governing Board of NRP. Prior to joining The NRP Group, Currall spent 11 years in multifamily mortgage banking with MMA Financial, Lend Lease Mortgage Capital, Red Mortgage Capital and Banc One Capital Corp. 

Tanner joined NRP in 2000 and played a significant role in developing best-in-class systems, processes and tools that enabled NRP to deliver top-tier investment returns and outstanding long-term performance. Though stepping away from his CFO duties, Tanner will remain an active member of NRP’s Advisory Board.
