ARLINGTON, VA | November 8, 2021 – The National Apartment Association (NAA) has announced Betsy Kirkpatrick, Strategic Account Executive for BG Multifamily, as the 2021 Advocacy 365 Advocate of the Year. Betsy was recognized with this award at NAA’s annual Assembly of Delegates, held in Cincinnati, Ohio last week.
Betsy has more than 11 years of experience as a multifamily professional. She has risen through the ranks of the apartment industry, beginning her career as a property manager and then regional trainer with well-known property management companies. Prior to her current role, Betsy served as a Director of Sales in the Charlotte area and Regional Sales Manager for multiple markets nationwide with BG. Being a passionate advocate, Betsy has advocated for the rental housing industry time and time again.
Each fall, NAA recognizes the U.S. apartment industry’s top grassroots advocate. This award, the Advocacy365 Advocate of the Year, is one of NAA’s most prestigious and recognizes outstanding voluntary contributions to industry advocacy at the local, state and national levels.
