ARLINGTON, VA | January 4, 2022 – Charlottesville real estate executive Ronda Puryear, CAM, CPM, Management Services Corporation, has begun her term as 2022 National Apartment Association (NAA) Chairman-Elect. She was installed at NAA’s annual Assembly of Delegates, held in Cincinnati in November.
Puryear has nearly 30 years of real estate experience in property management, marketing and development, and as President of Residential Management for Management Services Corporation, she oversees the operation of more than 4,000 rental housing units throughout Virginia and North Carolina.
In addition, Puryear has been involved with NAA for more than 10 years, having served as a Region I Vice President, a member of the Governance Committee and Chair of both the Student Housing and Conference Committees. Most recently, Puryear served as the 2020 President of the National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI).
She also served two terms as Chair of the Virginia Apartment Management Association. Further, Puryear is a member of the Manufactured Housing Enterprises Board of Directors and the Blue Ridge Apartment Association Board of Directors, where she also served two years as Chair. She currently serves as a member of the Virginia Tech Property Management Advisory Board, where she was Chairman in 2019 and 2020. Puryear is a graduate of the NAA Leadership Lyceum volunteer leadership development program and is an instructor for the National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) and Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) credential programs.
