Watchtower Security has been busy giving back. The company continues to stay involved and help the communities they partner with by working with several philanthropic organizations.
In 2014, Watchtower Security helped establish the charity organization, Towers of Excellence. Based in Chicago, Towers of Excellence works with underserved youth to promote academic success through one-on-one mentorship and academic guidance. In 2016, Towers of Excellence welcomed the flagship group of 6th- and 7th-grade students.
Using their Five Core Value System, Towers of Excellence encourages youth to Be SMART (Be Self-aware, Be Mindful, Be Authentic, Be Responsible, and Be Tenacious). The Towers of Excellence sixth graders participate in the program “Character Drives Success,” which focuses on learning and applying the five core principles. These are taught through one-on-one and small group mentoring sessions, as well as real-life experiences. Upon graduating to the next program, the Towers of Excellence seventh graders use the core values to “Create Curious Minds.”
Along with helping to establish Towers of Excellence, Watchtower Security also donates their services and equipment to various nonprofit organizations across the country. Watchtower Security is providing free, managed video surveillance to the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Near Southside Employment Coalition and Camp Hope to name a few. Camp Hope, located in Houston, provides Post Traumatic Stress Disorder care for veterans and their families. Watchtower Security has also donated surveillance equipment to NAA’s Next Gen outreach, a program that works with the Street Teens organization in Las Vegas.
