On Jan. 11, 2023, NAA hosted the first call of the year. Some highlights include:

  • Federal Legislative Update: Greg Brown, SVP of Government Affairs, gave an overview of NAA’s advocacy activities at the end of last Congress and provided insight into the 118th Congress’ agenda and outlook for the rental housing industry.
  • Regulatory Roundup: Nicole Upano, AVP of Housing Policy and Regulatory Affairs, reviewed several of NAA’s regulatory priorities and reported on NAA’s continued dialogue with the White House as the administration looks to further its housing agenda.
  • Legal Update: Members of NAA’s Legal Affairs team digested the latest in rent control litigation, data privacy, lease updates and more.
