Tramaine EL-Amin
Tramaine EL-Amin, the National Council for Mental Wellbeing’s Vice President of Mental Health First Aid USA®, brings over 20 years of experience in mental health equity advocacy, cultural and linguistic resonance, DE&I, social impact and leadership. Prior to this, Tramaine led initiatives on community engagement and changes related to the Affordable Care Act. Nationally, she taught millions to identify signs related to mental health, substance use and suicide. Tramaine earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Arcadia University and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Eastern University, she also published research in public mental health education and systems transformation.
