Mary Cook Associates has promoted Josh Kassing from Vice President, Design Development to Senior Vice President. In his new role, Kassing will focus on leading the firm’s continued growth, together with MCA founder and President Mary Cook. Kassing joined Mary Cook Associates in 2017 as Creative Director. The following year, he was promoted to Vice President. In 2020, Kassing became the first head of MCA’s Concept Studio.

DeMario’s promotion comes shortly after he took on an important industry role as President of the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association (GCAA). DeMario was a member of GCAA’s Board of Directors for four years before his appointment as the association’s President. Lendlease announced the promotions of Nick Iselin to Executive General Manager, Development, Central Region, and Kinjal Patel to Executive General Manager, Construction, Central Region.
Iselin brings nearly three decades of experience to the role, much of it spent at Lendlease, where he most recently served as Executive General Manager, Boston Development. In that role, he led the development of Clippership Wharf, a four-building, 478-unit mixed-use development along the East Boston waterfront that marked Lendlease’s first major urban regeneration project in the U.S.
An 18-year veteran of Lendlease, Patel has held numerous management positions with escalating responsibilities, including his most recent role as General Manager and Vice President/Principal-in-Charge of Construction in Chicago, overseeing Lendlease’s residential, mixed-use and commercial sectors. His work encompasses numerous large-scale, multi-phase developments that he led from preconstruction through completion, including One Bennett Park, a 70-story ultra-luxury residential building in Streeterville and Lathrop, a former public housing development recently renovated into a mixed-income housing community.

Eighteen Capital Group (18CG) has hired Erin Waters as its new Regional Vice President. In her new role, Waters will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Eighteen Capital Group’s portfolio of multifamily housing communities in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Missouri. She will also oversee maintenance, asset management, human resources and marketing functions for those properties. Waters is also responsible for planning and directing budgets in the region. Waters began her career in real estate in 2000 as a Property Manager. Over the next 23 years, Waters began supervising larger portfolios, serving as Property and Regional Manager for three property management companies in Charlotte. She has also earned her Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) credential.

Jehlicka is based in Wellington, Fla., and will oversee property and corporate marketing and public relations for The Bainbridge Companies.
Washbourne brings more than 20 years of experience in multifamily and organizational development. Most recently, she worked with Lincoln Property Company as their Vice President of Learning and Talent Development, as well as with Interplay Learning. During her career, Washbourne has also served as Learning and Development Manager for Gables Residential, as well as Director of Education for JPI/Greystar. Washbourne is based in Austin, Texas, and will oversee the learning and development platform across all verticals for The Bainbridge Companies.

The Mogharebi Group (TMG) has made a major push in its regional expansion with the opening of two new offices in Las Vegas and Albuquerque, N.M. Bill Ketcham and Robert Gallegos, who combined have more than 45 years of real estate investment experience, will lead the two offices.
Ketcham joins the firm as Vice President and will lead the Las Vegas office. He brings more than 20 years of real estate experience to TMG, including managing over 4,300 units of multifamily assets on the West Coast for a private investment company. While the Las Vegas office will focus primarily on multifamily, Ketcham also will be responsible for broadening TMG’s hotels advisory services.
Gallegos joins TMG as Senior Vice President to lead the Albuquerque office. Previously, he was with Alliance International Investments as Chief Investment Officer; he helped build the investment portfolio for two REIT funds. Gallegos has been responsible for more than $100 million in sales transactions in the United States and internationally during his 25-year real estate investment career.
