RangeWater Real Estate is now with 100,000 units under management throughout the Southwest and Southeast. This includes multifamily units and build-to-rent (BTR) homes. RangeWater has more than doubled its management portfolio size since 2020—this includes more than 39,000 apartments last year.

“Our goal as an organization has never been to get bigger, but to get better,” said Steven Shores, Chairman and CEO of RangeWater, in a release. “Our property management team brings our firm’s innovative, collaborative, and experience-first approach to each partnership, and enables us to leverage those insights to inform strategic decisions across our entire platform.”

RangeWater also promoted Patrick Burke to Senior Managing Director of Property Management, Build-to-Rent, where he will oversee the brand’s BTR communities that include its own Storia brand and third-party management. The BTR division launched in 2020 and now occupies nearly a quarter of RangeWater's management portfolio, with more than 30 firms trusting the company to represent 23,000 homes across the country.

The company was founded in 2006 and is fully integrated with the acquisition, development, management and investment of multifamily assets across the Sun Belt and Mountain West regions.
