Gary L. Wickert is a partner and shareholder with Matthiesen, Wickert & Lehrer, S.C. With nearly four decades of litigation experience, he is the author of several subrogation books and legal treatises which are in every law school library in the country and is regarded as one of the world’s leading experts on insurance subrogation. Licensed in both Texas and Wisconsin, Gary is double board-certified in both personal injury law and civil trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is also dual board-certified as a Civil Trial Advocate and Civil Pretrial Practice Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA). Lee Wickert

Lee R. Wickert was a senior associate attorney in our Wisconsin office, but transferred to our Austin, Texas branch office when it was opened in May 2019. Lee is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and obtained his law degree at Marquette Law School and his M.B.A. at Marquette University. Lee is licensed in Texas and Wisconsin. Lee’s practice focuses on insurance litigation, especially nationwide insurance subrogation involving workers’ compensation, automobile, health insurance and ERISA, property and casualty, large loss property, and insurance coverage. Lee is also co-author of “Fundamentals of Insurance Coverage in All 50 States – Fifth Edition”, published by Juris Publishing, Inc., New York.
