Across the country, rental housing providers give back to their local communities. Key findings from NAA's 2023 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Survey include:
- Industry companies contributed on average $214,000 and 1,800 volunteer hours last year
- More than 30% of companies matched employee charitable contributions in 2023
- Nearly 65% of companies provided additional personal time off to volunteer and perform community service last year
The National Apartment Association (NAA) conducted a Corporate Social Responsibility Survey from October 30 - November 17, 2023. We received responses from 144 companies answering how much they gave to charities and community service organizations in the past 12 months. The average donation amount per company was then estimated based on survey results.
