Ed Wolff      President and Chief Revenue Officer     Aerwave      Dallas 

Aerwave has hired Ed Wolff as its President and Chief Revenue Officer. Along with the appointment of Wolff, Charles Walker will be promoted to Chief Operations Officer and Daniel Jensen will transition to Chief Strategy Officer. With over 25 years of experience in the real estate and technology sectors, Wolff will oversee sales, marketing, customer success and client solutions. Prior to accepting this new role with Aerwave, Wolff served as President and Chief Revenue Officer of LeaseLock. Wolff also served as President of LeasingDesk Insurance and Screening at RealPage. Prior to his roles at LeaseLock and RealPage, Wolff was the Chief Operating Officer at Cortland and Chief Administrative Officer at Pinnacle and Place Properties.

Mark Branaman  •  Managing Partner, Active Adult Communities

Jason Taylor  •  Managing Partner, Public-Private Partnerships 

The Annex Group announced the hiring of two industry veterans. Mark Branaman is Managing Partner, Active Adult Communities, and he specializes in active adult community creation. He will help The Annex Group enter the 55 and older rental housing market for the first time. Branaman, who is a degreed civil engineer has spent over the last decade in active adult and senior apartment housing development roles, will lead efforts to find, secure and ultimately build active adult communities around the United States. 

Jason Taylor was hired as Managing Partner, Public-Private Partnerships (P3s). In this role, Taylor will lead the company’s real estate development strategy for housing development projects on and near colleges and universities nationwide. Taylor brings more than two decades of experience in student housing and P3 engagements for real estate organizations to The Annex Group. 

Marc Franco      Managing Director, Investor Services     Cushman & Wakefield      New York 

Cushman & Wakefield has hired Marc Franco as Managing Director, Investor Services, where he will focus on institutional client care in the East Region of the U.S. Franco will be based out of the firm’s Midtown Manhattan office. In his new role, Franco will be responsible for ensuring the firm’s institutional investor clients benefit from the firm’s broad, integrated platform of investor services, including Capital Markets, Agency Leasing, Property Management, Valuation & Advisory and Project & Development Services. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Franco was a Senior Vice President with USSA International. 

Bill Zunamon      Vice President of Development     The NRP Group      Cleveland 

The NRP Group has brought in Bill Zunamon as Vice President of Development. This strategic hire marks NRP’s expansion beyond market-rate developments in Florida to include affordable and workforce housing projects. With a proven track record of delivering affordable housing across Florida, Zunamon will play a crucial role in establishing NRP’s affordable project portfolio in the state. In his new position, Zunamon will collaborate directly with nonprofit organizations, public housing authorities and governmental agencies to identify and execute projects that address the state’s pressing housing needs. He previously served as Vice President of Development at McDowell Housing Partners. 

Beth Peterson      Regional Vice President of the Army West Region      Liberty Military Housing      JB Lewis-McChord, Wash. 

Beth Peterson has joined Liberty Military Housing as the new Regional Vice President of the Army West Region. In her role as Regional Vice President, Peterson will oversee the financial management and operational activities of 5,159 homes within 22 communities at Joint Base Lewis-McChord near Tacoma, Wash. Peterson comes to Liberty with a background of 25 years in property management, handling both conventional and affordable housing portfolios. Her most recent tenure was with FPI Management, where she managed a portfolio of 12,000 homes as the Senior Director of Operations for over a decade.   

Kyle Gambrell      Regional Vice President of Sales for Texas      FIDUS Construction     Dallas

FIDUS Construction announced the appointment of Kyle Gambrell as Regional Vice President of Sales for Texas. Gambrell will lead business development efforts across the state from the company’s Dallas office. With over 20 years of experience in multifamily, Gambrell has a proven track record of managing sales teams, developing client relationships and winning new business. Gambrell will be responsible for expanding FIDUS’ multifamily client base and project portfolio in Texas. He will lead business development initiatives, oversee the sales team and leverage his industry network and expertise to drive new opportunities. In addition to his CAS designation, Gambrell is an active member of AAGD, FWAA and TAA, serving on several boards and PSC Advisory committees.

J.D. Sitton      Executive Vice President of Capital Markets and Strategy      KETTLER     McLean, Va. 

KETTLER announced the addition of J.D. Sitton as Executive Vice President of Capital Markets and Strategy as the company looks to grow its investment management business. With more than 30 years working at firms like Hines, J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Barings, Sitton brings a wealth of expertise in working with institutional real estate investors in the United States and abroad. He will serve as a member of KETTLER’s investment committee and will lead the firm’s discretionary fundraising efforts. Sitton will also maintain and grow relationships with investors and their consultants and collaborate with senior leadership in setting strategy 
for firm funds. 

Cheryl Charnas     Executive Vice President     Marquette Companies      Naperville, Ill.  

Marquette Companies announced its strategic alliance with Deerfield, Ill.-based Orion Residential Advisors, with Orion executive Dan Gumbiner acting as an adviser as part of the alliance, while Cheryl Charnas joins Marquette’s asset management team as Executive Vice President. Charnas, who was Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Orion, brings nearly 30 years of experience in asset management, acquisitions and development with previous senior-level positions at top real estate firms including RREEF and AvalonBay.   

William Hubbard     First Vice President of Investments      IPA     Dallas 

Marcus & Millichap announced William Hubbard has joined IPA as a First Vice President of Investments in Dallas. In his new role, he will partner with the firm’s veteran Texas-based team led by Executive Managing Directors Will Balthrope and Drew Kile. The Texas team has closed over 300 multifamily transactions in the last three years. A Dallas native, Hubbard previously served as a First Vice President with CBRE. 

Thalia Lankin      Chief Administrative Officer     The NHP Foundation      New York 

The NHP Foundation (NHPF) announced the appointment of Thalia Lankin as Chief Administrative Officer. With over two decades of experience driving growth and leading mission-driven investment organizations, Lankin brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. As CAO, she will oversee and optimize the administrative functions of NHPF, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives. Prior to joining NHPF, Thalia served as Chief Strategy Officer and Special Counsel at AFL-CIO Investment Trust Corporation. Earlier she served as Chief Operating Officer at the AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust. 

Zach Springer      Partner and Managing Director of Capital Markets      RPM Living     Austin, Texas 

RPM Living is adding Zach Springer as Partner and Managing Director of Capital Markets. Springer will elevate RPM’s equity sourcing capabilities and continue to expand the institutional investor base by leveraging RPM’s data, geographical footprint and exceptional investment track record. Prior to joining RPM, Springer was Vice Chairman at Newmark. 

Greg Buckley      President     FTK Construction Services     Allen, Texas 

FTK Construction Services has promoted Greg Buckley to President. In his role as President, Buckley will provide strategic direction and oversight of FTK’s three divisions: Affordable Housing Projects, Market Rate Renovations and Insurance Restoration Projects. Buckley assumes his new position after serving as the Vice President of Construction Services at FTK for the last three years, during which he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of Preconstruction and Production, averaging 250 projects annually for FTK. Buckley began his career with FTK in 2011 as a Senior Portfolio Manager. Prior to joining FTK, he held the position of Construction Manager with Penco Services. Since 2016, Buckley has successfully overseen FTK’s Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Projects, completing over 5,300 units.
