EDEN Multifamily has hired Tyler Heckaman as Director of Land Acquisition. Based in Miami, Heckaman is responsible for sourcing new acquisition opportunities and supporting EDEN’s entitlement, market analysis, underwriting and operations. He was previously Senior Vice President – Head of Acquisitions for the former MCSS Development and Investment LLC (now known as Basis Industrial). He started with MCSS as an Acquisitions Associate in January 2017 before earning a promotion to Vice President of Development two years later.

Entrata announced the hire of Stephanie Fuhrman as SVP of Corporate Development. Prior to joining Entrata, Fuhrman led several facets of asset and corporate operations for Catalyst Housing Group. Before Catalyst, she served as the Managing Director of Global Innovation for Greystar.

FirstService Residential promoted Jennifer Ogman to a Vice President of its CityLine Division, a group that specializes in
managing multifamily properties across New York City’s outer boroughs. As a Vice President, Ogman has executive oversight of a team of property managers responsible for managing more than 20 condominiums, cooperatives and multifamily
buildings comprising roughly 4,300 units throughout Brooklyn, Queens and Upper Manhattan.

Angela Christy, a real estate attorney with more than 30 years of experience handling affordable housing and community development matters for nonprofit and for-profit developers, investors and government entities, has joined Ballard Spahr’s Real Estate Department and Affordable Housing and Community Development Group as a Partner. Christy’s practice centers on affordable housing, with particular emphasis on Low-Income Housing Tax Credit transactions and Naturally Occurring Affordable Housing projects.

The Breeden Company announced Jim Pauliks, SHRM-CP, has joined the organization as a Human Resources Generalist. Pauliks will be responsible for all human resources-related items from culture, strategy and employee relations to talent management, benefits and more. He brings over 20 years of experience in the human resources realm. Prior to joining the company, Pauliks worked for New York Life.

Fogelman Properties appointed Thomas Henry as Vice President of Acquisitions. Henry brings eight years of commercial real estate investment experience to his new role at Fogelman. The VP of Acquisitions will be based in Dallas, and will focus on securing new multifamily investment opportunities throughout the major Texas markets. Henry previously served as VP of Investments at StoneRiver Company.

RangeWater Real Estate welcomes Senior Managing Director of Development Andrew McIntyre to its growing multifamily firm. McIntyre brings more than two decades of experience overseeing the construction of more than 3,200 multifamily units. McIntyre will expand the firm’s development portfolio to include emerging markets in the Mountain West, while also focusing on execution in the Southeast and Southwest. He will focus initially on projects in Denver, Phoenix and Salt Lake City.

Ron Avidan has joined Valet Living as President of Valet Living Turns to lead the turns business operations in the United States, lead a growing staff of 75 new associates and 300+ new contractors. Prior to Valet Living, Avidan held different senior executive roles at Interior Logic Group (ILG). Avidan will be based in Stamford, Conn.
 

Teresa Reed has been promoted to Vice President of National Accounts where she will participate in the company’s continued expansion of sales and the overall brand, aid in the mission to double Valet Living's national account team, and implement an account management team to improve Valet Living’s client services. Prior to Valet Living, Reed spent two decades increasing sales responsibility at LexisNexis, Rent.com and The Armco Group. Reed will be based in Phoenix.

The NRP Group announced the hire of Grace Evans as Vice President of Development in Nashville, Tenn. In her new role, Evans will be responsible for originating, leading and managing all aspects of suburban and urban affordable multifamily development in greater Nashville, leveraging her previous finance and development experience. Prior to joining NRP, Evans served as an associate at Elmington Capital Group where she was responsible for conducting the due diligence, underwriting, and financing processes for affordable multifamily properties using 4% and 9% tax credits.

Lendlease announced the appointment of Monique Henley as Executive General Manager, New York, for the Americas Development business. Henley is based out of Lendlease’s New York City office. In her new role, Henley will lead Lendlease’s integrated projects in the New York market and manage a cross-functional team within the Development group. Prior to Lendlease, Henley was Vice President and Regional Director - Southeast Development for Rockefeller Group. Most recently, her focus has been on the establishment of a residential and mixed-use platform in Atlanta, culminating in a 19-story, 64-unit condominium development, as well as land sourcing and pre-development of a 60-story multifamily and office tower.

RKW Residential promoted Jennifer Ipock to Regional Vice President. Based in Charlotte, Ipock has been an instrumental member of RKW’s team since joining the firm in 2017. She previously served as Senior Regional Manager. In her new role, Ipock oversees operational strategy for a portfolio of communities throughout the Carolinas and Missouri. Ipock serves on the Programs and Operations Committee for the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association and holds her CAPS designation. She has served as a mentor for those who are looking to break into the multifamily industry.

Sharon Wilson Géno  •   President

The National Multifamily Housing Council Board of Directors named Sharon Wilson Géno as President during its 2023 Annual Meeting. Wilson Géno was President-Elect since September 2022. She takes the helm from long-time President Doug Bibby, who announced his retirement in 2021 but postponed it until 2023. Before joining NMHC this past fall, Wilson Géno served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Volunteers of America National Services. Bibby has joined the Shelters to Shutters National Board of Directors to serve a three-year term.
