Grassroots: Advocate Back Home to Get YIMBY Passed
Congress’ August recess (August 2-September 6, 2024) is a great opportunity for affiliates to engage their Members of Congress and advance priority legislation toward final passage. The bipartisan Yes In My Backyard (YIMBY) Act (S. 1688/H.R. 3507) is ready for floor consideration; however House/Senate leadership needs assurance that the bill will not consume much of the limited time left on the Congressional calendar.
Urging your Members of Congress to request floor consideration for YIMBY Act is the perfect opportunity for you to engage Members of Congress to support the YIMBY Act.
