ARLINGTON, VA | November 8, 2021 – The National Apartment Association (NAA) has announced John Mitchell as one of two 2021 NAA Lifetime Achievement Awards recipients. John will be recognized with this award at NAA’s annual Advocate conference in March.
John has served as a prominent leader in the rental housing industry for nearly 30 years. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Apartment Association of Tarrant County, where his dedication led to the creation of the Leadership Lyceum Program at the local, state and national levels. This program continues to inspire, develop and train the rental housing industry’s leaders of tomorrow. His work’s importance earned him distinction both within the Texas Apartment Association as well as NAA, where he was honored with the highest award for his profession, the Association Executive of the Year.
The NAA Lifetime Achievement Awards recognize recipients for their long-term history of exemplary national service and accomplishments to NAA and the apartment housing industry. This prestigious honor is awarded annually.
