Attract the candidate right from the start: Make your introduction stand out! Studies show that if a company doesn’t have the candidate’s attention within the first five lines, he or she will move to the next opportunity.

Even a well-written job post can be undermined if it doesn’t include a call to action for the candidate. Make sure to include a clear, easy way for job seekers to contact a company representative by giving multiple avenues to reach you and ways they can stay in touch with your company, such as following your social media channels or signing up for your email communications. If job applications trigger an automated response, make sure to include this information in that reply.
