Stay Up To Date on the RPM Careers Campaign

The RPM Careers campaign is always searching for innovative ways to spread the word to talented candidates about our growing industry.

In August, eight NAA member companies joined us on our Facebook page for our first virtual job fair. Newcomers and returning RPM professionals alike sought guidance on breaking into the industry and on building a meaningful career.

Teams of recruiters staffed the page throughout the two-hour event, offering advice, discussing training requirements and opportunities, sharing current openings and soliciting resumes—all from the convenience of their desks.

“It was great that so many different organizations from across our industry were able to work together—and for candidates to have the opportunity to present themselves to multiple groups at one time,” Carolyn Lewis, Recruiting Manager, Gables Residential, says.

Lewis enjoyed connecting with candidates who were new to the industry, as well as with those who had strong previous experience.

Event promotion—a mix of newsletter content, emails, Facebook posts and graphics and paid advertising—helped the RPM Careers campaign reach nearly 10,000 people on Facebook. Online conversations generated 423 comments, as recruiters from The Dolben Company, Equity Residential, Gables, Greystar, Lincoln Property Company, Pinnacle Residential, Weidner Apartment Homes and WinnResidential answered questions in real time.

Job seekers had the opportunity to ask substantive questions, network with others interested in RPM, and share their email addresses with recruiters for follow-up communications.
