Have you explored RPMcareers.org yet? This new website, developed by the NAA Education Institute (NAAEI), is designed to promote our industry and drive qualified job candidates to our doors-particularly recent college graduates, career changers and those in the military community.

RPMcareers.org has a variety of innovative features to engage potential candidates in residential property management, including a career quiz, networking opportunities with industry professionals and much more.

Here Are Our Five Favorites

Job database. RPMcareers.org is creating the most extensive national database of RPM job postings in the country, creating a pipeline of future talent. By featuring RPM-related job openings, RPMcareers.org will ensure that qualified, interested candidates see the diversity of careers in RPM, as well as available positions.

NAAEI needs your help to make this national database a success. NAAEI is attracting visitors through social media and a digital advertising campaign-and we need postings from companies that recruit in multiple locations or nationwide to make the site as inviting and useful as possible and represent the vast opportunities around the country. Having a large number of job postings is the key to success for the site and will guarantee an expanded pool of qualified candidates.

RPM Careers ambassadors. While those in our target audience search for jobs and career information online, they also want to make personal connections in the industry. That's why

RPMcareers.org gives candidates the opportunity to communicate, via email and LinkedIn, with young professionals already working in RPM. These "ambassadors" offer real, credible validation of the benefits of working in the RPM industry. Through these exchanges with the RPM Careers ambassadors, visitors can make a personal connection, learn more about the industry, get advice and start networking their way to a job or career.

Career quiz. When you visit RPMcareers.org, one of the first features you'll see is a career quiz, which uses a short series of questions to match a visitor's interests, skills and experience with the RPM career that is right for him or her. Users are also matched with an ambassador with similar experiences (for example, another community college graduate or someone who has also worked in construction) and with whom they can make a personal connection. Finally, quiz-takers are directed to customized resources and information to explore the industry and a position best suited for them.

Industry comparisons. Experienced workers looking for a new career path may be unaware of RPM's many benefits and opportunities. Charts compare the benefits of an RPM career with those in other fields, such as hospitality and restaurants, sales, construction and real estate. At a glance, candidates can see how a career in RPM offers ongoing educational opportunities, career growth, and stability-perks that many of these individuals don't currently enjoy.

Campus Connection. A number of colleges and universities offer a major, minor or concentration in RPM, either in the classroom or through an online curriculum. The Campus Connection section of RPMcareers.org provides information on all the schools offering RPM training programs-connecting the next generation of RPM professionals with the key programs that will put them on the path to a rewarding career.
