Jamin Harkness     President     The Life Properties      Atlanta

The Life Properties has announced that Jamin Harkness has joined the firm as President. Harkness will primarily focus on overseeing the day-to-day operations across the entirety of the property and construction management firm’s portfolio of work, which since inception has consisted of 16,000 workforce and affordable housing units. Prior to joining The Life Properties, Harkness served as Executive Vice President and Partner at The Management Group, LLC, where he managed and oversaw the day-to-day operations across TMG’s wide-ranging property portfolio. Before his time at TMG, Harkness was Vice President at Wesley Apartment Homes. He is a member of the Atlanta Apartment Association’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.

Gordon Ziegenhagen     Senior Vice President     Draper and Kramer      Chicago

Draper and Kramer has promoted Gordon Ziegenhagen from Vice President to Senior Vice President. In this role, Ziegenhagen will continue leading new development opportunities for the company in Chicago. Ziegenhagen joined Draper and Kramer in 2004 as part of the firm’s acquisition and development division, where he has since managed all facets of the development lifecycle. Prior to joining Draper and Kramer, Ziegenhagen spent 10 years as Project Manager with a management consultancy.

P.B. Bell added three new members to its leadership team: Rehiring Angela Hood as Vice President of Development and promoting Jodi Silva and Molly Kirby to Portfolio Director. In her new role, Hood is responsible for managing all P.B. Bell development projects from entitlements through issuance of building permits. This includes due diligence, underwriting, design, budgets, city submittals and utility coordination. Hood rejoins P.B. Bell with nearly 30 years of experience in development and construction. Most recently, she served as a Project Manager for M.T. Builders.

Silva will now oversee a diverse portfolio throughout metro Phoenix and is responsible for managing operations, financials, marketing and staff at each community. She began her career in multifamily with P.B. Bell in 2004 as a Leasing Agent. A year after she joined, the community sold and she remained at the property as Community Manager for RK Properties. In 2010, Silva returned to P.B. Bell as a Community Manager.

Kirby joined P.B. Bell as Ancillary Services Coordinator in January 2022. She is responsible for managing operations, financials, marketing and staff at communities throughout greater Phoenix. Kirby began her career as a Leasing Agent in North Carolina, was promoted to Community Manager and then transitioned to single-family property management where she managed investment properties in North Carolina and Texas.

Dominium announced the hiring of Kelly Johnson as Vice President of Marketing and Jennifer Moulton as Vice President of Architecture. Johnson will be responsible for all aspects of Dominium’s marketing and branding strategy, including traditional and online advertising, leasing and sales training and resident retention programs. Prior to joining Dominium, Johnson was Vice President of Marketing for MC Companies and VP of Operations at Hills Property Management. Moulton will be responsible for Dominium’s strategic technical direction and architectural integrity while also coordinating the design of properties, designing for the Dominium portfolio and leading the architecture support staff. She most recently held the role of Vice President of Architecture at the international design firm, Harrison. Prior to that, she held roles such as Market Leader, Director of Architecture and Development and Manager of Design at companies such as CR Architecture and Design, Fogo de Chao and CEC Entertainment, respectively.

Kimberly Lang      Executive Vice President of Product     Entrata      Lehi, Utah

Entrata announced the addition of Kimberly Lang as Executive Vice President of Product. An industry veteran with over two decades of experience in the software industry, Lang will be focused on payment processing, product and partnership opportunities to help deliver greater value to the multifamily industry. Prior to Entrata, Lang held leadership positions at SaaS companies including Inhabit IQ and CheckAlt.

Janis Rossi      Sr. Vice President of Marketing     Pay Ready      Huntington Beach, Calif.

Pay Ready announced Janis Rossi as the new Senior Vice President of Marketing. She has extensive experience in leading marketing at technology-based firms, and in her new role, will be responsible for expanding and strengthening the company brand, strategies and marketing management. Rossi brings more than 18 years of industry marketing experience and has become a trusted leader in the space. Most recently, Rossi was part of the original founding team at ROVR Score.

Ben Nowacky      Chief Product & Technology Officer     HappyCo      San Diego

HappyCo announced that Ben Nowacky has joined the company as Chief Product & Technology Officer. He brings more than 20 years of product and technology experience to the role. Nowacky, based in San Diego, will work with HappyCo’s product and engineering teams. Prior to joining HappyCo, Nowacky was Chief Product and Security Officer for Axcient.

John Carl III      Senior Managing Director      BH Properties      Dallas

John Carl III has joined BH Properties as Senior Managing Director to head the firm’s value-add acquisitions platform out of its Dallas office. Carl, with more than two decades of principal-based real estate investment experience across multiple product types and markets, will be responsible for leading and expanding the company’s existing acquisitions team and to grow the firm’s real estate portfolio, which includes more than 100 office, multifamily, industrial, retail and ground lease assets in 19 states throughout the country. Carl joins BH Properties from Marley Park Capital Management.

Tour24 has named Satish Janumpalli as Chief Technology Officer and Joanna Hackney as Chief Operating Officer. Janumpalli, who spent more than eight years at RealPage is a veteran in the rental housing industry with 15 years of technology innovation and product design experience. Hackney, who has 25 years of experience in the rental housing industry at companies including RealPage, Alliance and Campus Advantage, was promoted from her previous role as Executive Vice President of Client Success.
