About the Hosts
Moderator: Betsy Kirkpatrick
Betsy Kirkpatrick, Managing Director of Strategic Programs for BG Multifamily, brings over 13 years of experience in rental housing and staffing skills to her role. Her rise through the industry is aspirational, moving from property manager to regional trainer with numerous high-profile property management companies. Kirkpatrick also served as a Director of Sales in the Charlotte area, a Regional Sales Manager across national markets and a Strategic Accounts Executive. She was the winner of NAA’s National Supplier Council Achievement Award, the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association Volunteer of the Year, the Upper State Apartment Association’s Associate Member of the Year and much more.
Andrea Graham
Andrea Graham, Director of Membership Services at Upper State Apartment Association, brings 8 years of experience in management and outreach to her role. Serving on NAA’s NextGen Committee, she is committed to empowering and mentoring prospective leaders. Graham added “national speaker” to her resume at 2022 Apartmentalize, the industry’s largest conference, and contributed to two other committees, NAA Gives and Apartmentalize. She’s also received the 2021 NAA 20 in their Twenties Award and the 2022 Upstate South Carolina Best & Brightest 35 and Under Award. Graham graduated with a Parks Recreation Tourism Management, Travel and Tourism degree from Clemson University.
Tyler Marker
Tyler Marker, Director of Marketing and Professional Development at Zidan Management Group, brings 8 years of experience to his rental housing career. Starting as a leasing consultant in student housing, he has climbed the industry ladder, following his professional goals and opportunities along the way. From professional development manager with the Indiana Apartment Association to his current Director title, Marker has boosted his career, all by the age of 27. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness/Agricultural Business Operations from Purdue University.
Duy Vu, CAM, CAPS
Duy Vu, Director of Marketing for The Associated Management Company, brings 12 years of experience in management and rental housing to his role. With his CAM and CAPS credentials, he leads an active life as an alumnus from the 20 in their Twenties Class of 2019, a 2022 NAA Leadership Lyceum participant and a 2023 NAA Diversity Leadership Program participant. Vu serves on the Property Management Association of West Michigan and the State of Michigan and supports the industry through local, state and national committees. He holds a B.B.A. in Marketing and an MBA in Finance, both from Davenport University.
