The Details:
The need for authentic advocacy is critical at the federal, state and local levels. The Key Contact Program consists of NAA members who have an existing relationship with a legislator or their staff as well as members who are willing to actively cultivate a relationship with their legislator. Forming relationships with elected officials is essential to NAA advocacy efforts as it allows our Key Contacts to communicate with lawmakers on the issues that impact our industry and be a resource to that legislative office. NAA staff will provide Key Contacts with the resources and support they need to build upon their existing relationships or build new relationships with their legislators.
Key Contacts will also receive exclusive content, gain access to exclusive events with members of Congress and their senior staff and have the opportunity to act as a resource to their legislators – ultimately impacting the future of housing policy.
